SPORTSMANSHIP

It is the mission of College Hockey East to set the standard for sportsmanship in the hockey community.  All associated parties play a critical role in reaching that objective: players, coaches, officials, administrators, and spectators.  The result is a supportive culture for our players, coaches, and officials, an enjoyable environment for our fans and families, and a positive image for our schools, our teams, and our league.

Our playoffs are our marquee event, where the importance of sportsmanship is cemented into our identity.  Players and coaches must uphold the standards of the CHE, regardless of the outcome of the games.  The applicable rulebooks will be enforced for players and team personnel who step outside of those boundaries.  Fans should cheer for their team and support all participants in a positive manner.  Spectators who interfere with the game or exhibit behaviors that are detrimental to the spirit and values of intercollegiate sports shall be removed from the premises.

PARKING

Ample vehicle parking is available in the lot adjacent to the arena and is free to the public.  Team buses/vans are encouraged to unload near the right-hand entrance to the arena (by the pub) and park along the perimeter of the parking lot on that side.

ADA parking is also available near the two entrances to the arena and is marked accordingly.  ADA parking near the right-hand entrance to the building provides ADA access only to Murph's Pub and not to the main arena.  Those wishing to use ADA parking and view the game from inside the playing area should park nearest to the left-hand side of the building.

TICKETS & SEATING

There is no admission fee charged for anyone entering the arena during the CHE event, including those wishing to view multiple games on any of the three days.

All seating inside the playing area is General Admission.  The away team fans will be directed to the bench-side seats by staying nearest to the side of the entrances, and the home team fans will be directed to the opposite-side seats by proceeding to the far side of the building.

Seating in Murph's Pub is controlled by the restaurant staff.  Seating along the glass of the restaurant is limited and cannot be reserved or guaranteed.  Most other seats in the restaurant and lounge offer a direct but obstructed view of the playing surface.

PHOTOGRAPHY

A professional photographer will be present throughout most of the weekend, including all three CHE championship games on Sunday.  Photos and photo packages from the event can be purchased from the photographer following the event.  Information on purchasing photos will be provided at the event.

No photos from the event shall be used, sold, nor distributed in any other capacity without the express written consent of the CHE.  Media members taking photographs shall do so only for editorial and publishing purposes.

Only the official photographer will be permitted in the scorer's/penalty box area during the games, and only approved photographers will be permitted on the ice following any game, including championship presentations.

POST-GAME CELEBRATIONS

Only team/game personnel, league officials, and the official photographer are permitted on the ice at any time throughout the post-season, including the on-ice celebration following the championship games. The winning team will be asked to clear the ice immediately if spectators or other unauthorized individuals enter the ice surface during this time, and any unauthorized person entering the ice surface will be removed from the premises immediately.
