Hilbert College stood tall at the 4th Annual CHA Playoffs by winning their second consecutive CHA Championship after winning three games straight. Wins over CMU 7-0 and CUP-II 5-3 landed Hilbert in the title game against Case Reserve where the “Hawks” soared to an 8-5 victory.
Congratulations to Hilbert player #16-Jason Baldi (Frontier High School) for winning the MVP award for his stellar performance in the 4th Annual CHA Playoffs.
Congratulations must also go out to CHA new-comers Case Reserve who had secured their spot in the CHA Championship by a super tight win over Allegheny 5-4 with only seven seconds remaining in regulation. Then, in the semi-final round, Case Reserve went on to beat CCAC-North 5-4 in double overtime! There’s no question this is the best season for the “Spartans” so there’s no doubt they’re ready to get into the mix next year and vie for the CHA title!
The CHA would like to thank Chuck Bell, Marty Palma and the support staff of CCAC for making the 4th Annual CHA Playoffs a huge success! The event was run without a hitch and it’s all due to the efforts of Chuck, Marty and Staff. Thank you CCAC, we could not have done it without you!!!
Finally, thank you goes out to all the family and friends who joined us for this spectacular weekend. Simply put, without your support and dedication the CHA would not be possible.
We would like to wish everyone in the CHA a happy and relaxing off-season. We look forward to getting back to work next fall. See you then!!!
