College Hockey Association Welcome to the College Hockey Association!
The CHA is a collegiate ice hockey league comprised of new or reorganizing programs that are looking for a place to play competitive hockey with limited restraints. Every player in the CHA maintains the academic standards of at least the ACHA D-III level. However, membership into the ACHA is optional for CHA members. Regardless of ACHA affiliation, all CHA members are insured under USA Hockey. The goal of CHA is to maintain a competitive atmosphere for teams who are willing and interested while offering the flexibility needed in some of today’s ice hockey clubs and colleges. The CHA is operated under the direction of College Hockey East (CHE).
