The 27th Annual Keystone State Games were held in York, PA from July 30th to August 2nd, with the ice hockey event hosted at the York City Ice Center. Several players from College Hockey East took part in the games. The Junior Male Team for the West Region won a Silver medal with CHE players Dan Clark (RMU D-III), Jared Karenbauer (RMU D-III), and Kyle Harnen (UPJ). Brendan Boyle (RMU D-III) and John Balog (PSA) also competed at the Junior Male level with the Central Region and won a bronze medal. Additionally, the West Region Midget Team won a gold medal under the direction of assistant coaches Joe Rodella (PITT D-II) and David Ciotti (PITT D-II).
